Gord Lane

V.P. Engineering

Gord graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1996. He went to work for Crestar Energy and spent 1 year as a production engineer in Wainwright, AB, before returning to Calgary as a Drilling Engineer. Responsibilities included all aspects of programming, in many areas of Western Canada and a wide variety of oil and gas wells ranging from southern shallow gas projects to deeper tests in the Grand Prairie area. Gordon joined Magus Engineering Limited in November of 2000, and is currently the V.P. of Engineering with the company.
